ABOUT
Currently working for the Institute of Computing Science of Poznan University of Technology (associate professor), a member of the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications, Poznan University of Technology, a member of Academic E-Learning Society. Research interests include data mining, database/data warehouse systems, web application architectures.
Teaching courses on information systems design and implementation for companies and universities in Poland, Germany, Slovakia, UK, and USA. Teaching or taught university courses at Poznan University of Technology, Fachhochschule Braunschweig-Wolfenbuettel, School of Banking in Poznan, Loyola University New Orleans, Collegium Da Vinci in Poznan, Warsaw School of Economics. Developing and teaching IT courses, preparing strategic development plans, managing IT and R&D projects. Authored over 100 research and technical papers on frequent itemset discovery, data mining query processing, adaptive web sites, database indexing techniques, Java standards for databases, multitier application architectures.
Creator of a series of PLOUG conferences and seminars aimed at technology transfer for Polish IT companies. M.Sc. in Computer Science (Distributed Computer Systems, "summa cum laude" Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Poznan University of Technology) in 1995, Ph.D. in Computer Science (Data Mining) in 1998, Dr. Habil. in Computer Science (Database Systems) in 2004.
